JOHNSTOWN — Addison Albert, Butler County’s Distinguished Young Woman 2017, was second runner-up Saturday in the Distinguished Young Woman of Pennsylvania contest.

She also was the Fitness Award winner, and she won the Spirit Award.

Addison was named the county’s Distinguished Young Woman June 4 at Butler County Community College.

Addison is the daughter of Sam and Jodi Albert of Saxonburg. She attends Knoch High School where she is a member of the National Honor Society, student council and the class cabinet.

The state Distinguished Young Woman of Pennsylvania 2017 is Maxine Malvar from Lawrence County.

The first runner-up is Alexandra Adams of Beaver County.
