Terry M. Capella

Terry M. Capella, 68, of Butler passed away Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

He was born Nov. 22, 1948, in Pittsburgh, to the late Joseph F. Capella and the late Grace Kriess Neely Capella.

Terry was a 1966 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He then attended the Community College of Allegheny County.

Terry went on to work for the Pennsylvania Forestry Department, Chefmaster, Master Tech Alarms and as a clerk at the VA Medical Center before retiring in 1994.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. Terry was past Commander of DAV Chapter 64.

He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, metal detecting, watching American Pickers and Pawn Stars.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta, whom he married July 2, 1981; two sons, Jarrod L. Capella of Butler, and Ben C. Capella of Butler; one stepson, Shawn P. Stokes and his wife, Kate Marquis, of Fairfax, Va.; his aunt, Mary McCarty of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

CAPELLA — There will be no public visitations for Terry M. Capella, who died Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, as per his wishes.A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.Arrangements were entrusted to Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
