The U.S. Senate race between Democrat John Fetterman and Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz remained undecided into the morning hours.

In the end, Fetterman edged out Oz for the open Senate seat with with 2,501,681 votes — or 50.16% of the vote statewide — to Oz's 2,364,983 votes, or 47.42%, according to state results early Wednesday morning.

In Butler County, Oz received 56,962 votes, or 61.37%; and Fetterman received 33,615 votes, or 36.22%.

In the race for govenor, Josh Shapiro received 2,767,209 votes statewide, or 55.47%; and Doug Mastriano received 2,131,665 votes, or 42.73%.

In Butler County, Mastriano received 51,365 votes, or 55.25%; and Shapiro received 39,759, or 42.77%.

In county races, Republican Mike Kelly, who jumped out to an early lead, received 61,114 votes, or 65.94%, beating Democrat Daniel Pastore's 31,561votes, or 34.06%, in Butler County for the 16th Congressional District.

In the state House, three Republicans ran uncontested: state Rep. Aaron Bernstine won the 8th Legislative District; state Rep. Marci Mustello won the 11th Legislative District; and state Rep. Tim Bonner won the 17th Legislative District.

Republican candidate Stephenie Scialabba won the race for the state House 12th District seat. Scialabba will replace Republican state Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, who announced his retirement earlier this year. She faced Democrat Robert Vigue for the seat. At post time, 20,907 votes were recorded for Scialabba and 12,633 for Vigue.
