Charles E. “Chuck” Haefner Sr., 81, of Pine Township passed away unexpectedly on Thursday.

He was the son of the late Clara and Bernard Haefner; loving husband for 61 years of Audrey English Haefner; dear father of Charles Jr. (Holly), Barbara (David) Venturella, Joan (Dennis) Rinaman, Laura (Jeff) Rudzik and Kathy (Lee) Haefner; and brother of Regis, Robert (Hazel), Marion (Karl) Kushnerei, Jean (Larry) Schwartz and Helen Rinaman and the late Paul Haefner and Rita Modrak. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Chuck was a longtime Pine Township resident and business owner of Haefner Water Well Drilling. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3907.
