Margaret 'Peg' Reeder
Margaret Irene “Peg” Crouch Reeder, 89, of Claytonia passed away at 11:40 a.m. Friday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Peg was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Butler County. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Everett Crouch and the late IsabelleThompson Crouch.
She was a very active member of the Claytonia Church of the Nazarene. She loved to feed the birds and deer.
Peg is survived by one daughter, Margaret “Peggy” McGallis of Claytonia; three sons, Carl (Bev) Reeder of Euclid, Joseph (Donna) Reeder of Butler and Jack (Alice) Reeder of Claytonia; one daughter-in-law, Connie Reeder, wife of the late Gib, of Claytonia; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Coffman of Colorado; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Reeder Sr., who died Jan. 16, 1992; one infant son; six sisters; and three brothers.
REEDER — Friends of Margaret Irene “Peg” Crouch, who died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and at the Claytonia Church of the Nazarene from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday. Funeral services will follow with the Rev. Tim Britton, her pastor, officiating.Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice or to the Claytonia Church of the Nazarene.
