Elgin 'Brooks' Lollo

Elgin “Brooks” Lollo, 55, of Callery passed away on Thursday in the comfort of his home.

Born Sept. 3, 1957, in Butler, he was the beloved son of the late Joseph William and Evelyn (Cartwright) Lollo Sr.

Brooks was a 1978 graduate of the Clarence Brown Education Center in Butler. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved attending baseball games. Brooks was a proud life-member of the Callery Volunteer Fire Department. In addition, he enjoyed computers and waving to people from his driveway. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his loving sister, Beverly James and her husband, Howard, of Callery; his dear nephew, Jeffrey Lollo of Callery; his sister-in-law, Joyce Nicklas of Evans City; and many additional nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph William Lollo Jr.

LOLLO — Elgin “Brooks” Lollo, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012. Brooks’ family will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.Funeral services will be celebrated at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert Goossen officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Evans City Cemetery.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Callery VFD, P.O.
