Leroy F. “Bud” Rearick
Leroy F. “Bud” Rearick, 73, of Butler died unexpectedly Sunday at the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 12, 1942, in Butler, he was a son of the late Leroy L. Rearick and Delores (Checkan) Rearick.
Bud had worked as a control engineer for Billco Manufacturing for 25 years, retiring in 2009. Before that, he worked for the Herman Corp. for 25 years, both in Zelienople. He enjoyed bowling, hunting and cars.
Surviving is his wife, Val (Clark) Rearick, who he married Dec. 14, 1963; three children, Kimberly (Brian) Collier of Chicora, Kristian Rearick of Butler and Natalie (Brian) Herold of Butler; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Ronald (Agnes) Rearick of Harmony and Edward A. Rearick of Prospect.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Joanne Rearick.
REARICK — Friends of Leroy F. “Bud” Rearick, who died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
