Dorothy R. “Dottie” Foertsch

Dorothy R. “Dottie” Foertsch, 67, of Butler passed away Wednesday at her home.

Born April 8, 1949, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Wilbert John Foertsch Sr. and Dorothy Leona Finley Foertsch.

Dottie helped on the family farm. She enjoyed knitting, solving puzzles, cooking and fishing.

Surviving are five brothers, Harold Foertsch of Butler, Vernon Foertsch of Saxonburg, Errol Foertsch of Butler, Wilbert Foertsch of Hurricane, W.Va., and Garry (Barb) Foertsch of Cabot; and four sisters, Leona Wills of Mars, Carol Nelson of Butler, Mary Alice (George) Shuler of Butler and Karen Foertsch of Butler; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Marilyn J. Shuler and Adele Foertsch.

FOERTSCH — Friends of Dorothy R. “Dottie” Foertsch, who died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Saxonburg.Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger G. Keller officiating.Interment will follow at the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg or the American Cancer Society.For more information, visit www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
