Alice Stauffer, 82, of Slippery Rock, went to our Lord on Sept. 18, 2022.

Alice was born in Poland in 1940, and she immigrated to the United States with her parents and sister in 1949.

She graduated from New Castle High School in 1958. She received her Bachelor of Education from Slippery Rock University in 1962, and her Master’s of Education from Slippery Rock University in 1987.

She was an associate professor at Slippery Rock University for 19 years.

She is survived by her sister, Theresa Stauffer and daughters, Christine (Bo) Crabtree and Michelle (Scott) Kristufek.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Janina Stauffer; and her son, John Kristufek III.

STAUFFER — A celebration of life for Alice Stauffer, who died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at her condo, 135 Arlington Drive, Slippery Rock.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Butler County Humane Society.
