County horsemen shine on track

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Four Butler County residents involved in harness racing were part of victories Wednesday at The Meadows.

Brady Brown of Slippery Rock drove Walkingintherain to victory in a $10,100 Conditioned Trot. He also guided La Nancio to a win in a $9,700 Conditioned Trot. Brown also won with 7-1 underdog Elite Machine on Friday.

Nathan Bresnahan of Butler trained Grip N Win, a 3-year-old filly who scored her first win in her 13th career start in a $7,500 Conditioned Pace.

Jason Bresnahan of East Butler trained Clover L, a 3-year-old filly, to victory in her second career start.

In Thursday action, Frankiss — trained by Gary Johnston and driven by Shawn Johnston, both of Evans City — won an $8,900 Conditioned Trot.
