Thomas V. Colosimo
Thomas V. Colosimo, 81, of Boyers passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
Tom was born Feb. 6, 1936, in Branchton, Pa. He was the son of the late Thomas V. Colosimo and the late Rose Morillo Colosimo.
Tom was a member of St. Alphonsus Parish, having faithfully attended the Epiphany Catholic Church in Boyers. He also proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Tom had been employed at Pullman-Standard until its closing and then retired after 17 years of service from OPM.
Tom was a life member of the Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department and also was a member of the Moniteau Ceremonial Squad.
Tom is survived by his wife, Nancy Fisher Colosimo, who he married June 24, 1961; one daughter, Natalie Colosimo of Massachusetts; two sons, Thomas V. Colosimo Jr. of Meridian and Michael Colosimo of Boyers; and seven grandchildren.
Being the last member of the Thomas V. Colosimo family, he was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
COLOSIMO — The family of Thomas V. Colosimo, who died Wednesday, April 5, 2017, will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.A blessing service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. James Bedillion of St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.
