Joan C. “Jo” (Schultz) Burtner
Joan C. “Jo” (Schultz) Burtner left this Earth on her next great adventure on June 26 after her long battle with COPD. Joan's life philosophy was, “Life isn't about the breaths we take, but about the moments that take our breath away.”
Joan was born April 23, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Emil Otto Sr. and Mary (Rock) Schultz.
Jo leaves behind her children, Daniel (Carol) Burtner Jr., Dawn (Jeff) Cook, Deneen Burtner, Deanna (Ronald) Ogrodny, Devin Burtner and Darla Cross; her grandchildren, Adam Chinchic, Kayla (Corey) Burtner-Manfull, Anna Chinchic, Chance Ogrodny, Hunter Cross and Jakob Cross; her great-grandson, Burton Manfull; her brothers and sisters, Maryann Fabian, Emil Schultz Jr., Dorothy Ditmer, David Schultz, Dan Schultz, Diane Hoehn, Anne Pittman and Alice Bishop; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and beloved friends.
Joan's love of life, laughter and fun was only surpassed by her love for her family and friends.
