Lucille M. Grazier Freshcorn, 73, of Fombell passed away at Pristine Pines of Franklin Park on Monday.

She was born at her parent's home in Chicora and attended Karns City High School. Upon graduation, she furthered her education by obtaining an LPN certificate from a nursing school in Pittsburgh.

After marrying, she moved to the Fombell area where she lived for most of her adult life. She was a loving mother to five children.

“Nanny” enjoyed gardening, country living and attending church, but most important to her was spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Melody Valentino of Ellwood City, Shelly (Jack) Meier of New Brighton and Charolette (Mike) French of Fombell; two sons, Norman Freshcorn of Ellwood City and Rumon (Nancy) Freshcorn of Gibsonia; four grandchildren, Trevor and Emma French and Hannah and Kevin Freshcorn; a sister, Vivian (Don) Wigton of Cochranton, Pa.; and a brother Wayne (Diane) Grazier of South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, N. Duane Freshcorn, who died May 7, 2005; a grandson, Joseph Valentino; her mother, Lauretta McCullough Grazier; her father, Milton C. Grazier; and her brothers, Clifford and Ken Grazier.
