Donald D. Wiefling

Donald D. Wiefling, 80, of Butler passed away on Thursday at his home.

Born Aug. 5, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Joseph Wiefling and Katherine Holmes Wiefling.

Don worked as an electrician for IBEW Local 5, retiring in 2001.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, farming, motorcycles and boating.

Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Wiefling, whom he married April 8, 1961; his children, Brian (Laurie) Wiefling, Robert (Lorri) Wiefling, Bradley Wiefling and Bridgette (Mark Schiesser) Wiefling; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Robert Wiefling, Leon Wiefling and Alvin Wiefling; and his sisters, Shirley Klingensmith and Marilyn Moran.

WIEFLING — Friends of Donald D. Wiefling, who died Thursday, March 14, 2019, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. March 23 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Herman, with the Rev.
