Doris Wagner Scott
Doris Wagner Scott, 83, of Mars, formerly of Butler, passed away on Wednesday morning at Concordia Lutheran Ministries of Cabot.
Born in Mars, Dec. 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late William Brooks and Jane Wright Brooks Mathews.
Doris had been a sales clerk at Montgomery Ward and had also worked for the Mars School District cafeterias for many years.
She was a member of Glade Run Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a son, William (Carla) Wagner of Butler; three daughters, Susan (James) Bacon of Butler, Kimberly (Thomas) Foster of Middlesex Township and Barbara (Dale) Hepler of Butler; a stepdaughter, Sandra Somple of Portersville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Grace) Brooks of Sarver; and a brother-in-law, Donald Trapp of Middlesex Township.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Scott, whom she married July 8, 1986, and who died July 24, 2014; by a sister, Shirley Trapp; and by her former husband, Richard Wagner.
SCOTT — Friends of Doris Wagner Scott, who died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Greg Wiest, pastor of Glade Run Presbyterian Church, officiating.
