Roger Lee Cravener, 43, of Butler passed away suddenly Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 26, 1968, in Fort Eustis, Va., and was the son of William and Jane (Brown) Cravener of Chicora.

He attended the Springdale Lutheran Church. Roger was a kind hearted person.

Surviving, along with his parents, are his fiancée, Crystal Hose of Butler; a son, Bobby Long of Butler; a sister, Joyce Cravener at home; and a brother, Randy Cravener of Wyoming.
