Rachel E. Rhinebolt, 53, of Butler, formerly of Chicora, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning at her home.

She was born in Butler on Nov. 8, 1959. Rachel was the daughter of Charles J. Claypoole of Butler and the late Etta E. “Dean” Clawgers Claypoole.

Rachel enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and fishing.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Rhinebolt, who she married in Chicora on Sept. 17, 1989; two daughters, Sarah Rhinebolt at home and April Robb of Butler; two grandsons, Justin White and Bentley Hilliard, both of Butler. Rachel was anxiously expecting the birth of her first granddaughter in June. Also surviving are three sisters, Kathy Hilliard and her husband, Verel, of Chicora, Diane “Gidget” Everetts, and Mickey L. Blystone, both of Butler; two brothers, Darryl Claypoole and his wife, Bonnie, and Jack Claypoole and his wife, Crystal, both of Butler, and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles J. Claypoole Jr.

RHINEBOLT — Friends of Rachel E. Rhinebolt, who passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 21, 2013, will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald E. Roudebush, pastor of the Karns City Church of God of Prophecy, officiating.
