Eck

George Frederic Eck, 57, of Espyville, Pa., North Shenango Township, Crawford County, passed away May 8 at his home.

He was born Nov. 13, 1955, in Pittsburgh to George Edward Eck and Elizabeth Anne (Coll) Eck.

First married to Janet Leigh Wagner and then to Laurie Ann Wilson, who preceded him in death.

He had retired from Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local Union 2 in Moon Township and Local 80 in West Virginia.

He is survived by two daughters, Angela L. Eck of New Castle and Rhonda Ann Eck of Slippery Rock; one grandson, Kirk; and two sisters, Molly Seybert of Butler and Lori Kelly of Slippery Rock.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tommy Eck; and one sister, Margaret Meeder.

ECK — The wishes of George Frederic Eck, who passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013, were to be cremated and no services will be observed.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Smith Funeral Home of Slippery Rock.
