Phyllis Bonnie Logue Craig, 91, of Dunedin, Fla., formerly of Perry Township, Clarion County, passed away Saturday at Mease Countryside Hospital in the Tampa, Fla., area after surgery complications.

She was born on Jan. 8, 1922, in West Freedom, Perry Township, Clarion County. She grew up in Parker, and later moved to Butler, Erie, Cleveland, Ohio, and Palm Harbor and Dunedin, Fla.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Flora (Flo) and (Peter) Bart Logue; her sister, Nellie Dearolph, and her brothers, Roland Logue and Fred Logue.

She is survived by one daughter, Gwen Maxwell of Cleveland, Ohio; her nieces, Bonnie Kondos of Butler, Kay Tuma of Cleveland, Ohio, Beverly Davis of Chicago, Nancy Logue of Cleveland, Ohio, Judy Benton of Jupiter, Fla., and Fred Logue's beloved daughters, Janet, Margie and Kathleen.

A very special friend in her final years and days, Jackie Sullivan, survives.

She was married to George Maxwell Craig, and they were divorced around 1950.

She worked for the VA Hospital in Butler in 1946 but later transferred to the VA Hospital in Erie, Pa.

In 1984, she retired after 38 years of employment in the position of chief supervisor in food production. She was the first woman in the country to hold that position.

She enjoyed singing, gardening, traveling throughout the world meeting great chefs and being treated to culinary delights, and finally her pet dogs, especially TZ.

CRAIG — The friends of Phyllis Bonnie Logue Craig, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, will be received at theH. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201. S. Wayne St. Parker, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Friday.
