GROVE CITY — With the conclusion of the fall sports season, Grove City College leads the respective races for the Presidents' Athletic Conference's All-Sports Trophies.

The Wolverines' women's teams have accumulated 32 points and lead second-place Geneva by 3.5 points. The men's teams are tied with Washington & Jefferson for the top spot with 20.5 points.

Grove City has won the women's trophy 14 times in the past 23 years. The Wolverine men have won the trophy 11 times since 1989.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University's men's and women's soccer teams have both placed four players on the Daktronics All-Region team this season.Defender Joshua Gray made first team on the men's side with goalkeeper Clayton Master, forward Chris Davis, Butler graduate and defender Drew Donoghue making second team.All four SRU women's selections — goalkeeper Dana O'Neill, defenders Emer Flatley and Lauren Impey, forward Lucy Hannon — made first team.

BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Community College men's and women's basketball teams dropped decisions to Jamestown Tuesday nught.John Tyler scored 16 points, Kevin Rummel 13 and Jake Hilliard 11 in the Pioneers' 102-67 men's loss. Bill Smith had 13 rebounds for BC3 (0-4), which fell behind 20-0 early.Shelby Johnston scored 24 points in the women's 74-49 loss. Jen Barry added eight points for BC3 (1-3).
