Just curious.. why would you offer Merry Christmas to a person of Jewish, Hindi, Muslim, or any other faith? What would you say to someone who came up and offered you a Happy Diwali or Merry Pongal? This country is a melting pot. Everyone here is not Christian. All I said was, why not offer a stranger a "Happy Holiday" and then you don't have to worry about their religion. That way everyone goes away with a smile on their face, instead of you trying to shove your religion down everyone's throats.
