Miranda Lynn Lyon, 35, of East Butler passed away at 4:50 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born on May 2, 1978, in Arizona, the daughter of Martin McCalman and the late Mary (Snodgrass) McCalman.

Miranda attended the First English Lutheran Church, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a personal care aide at the Chicora Medical Center.

Surviving are her husband, Eric M. Lyon of East Butler; her two daughters, Amelya and Ashlyn Lyon at home; her son, Patryk Lyon at home; her father of Arizona; her two brothers, Tim and Matt McCalman of East Butler; her two sisters-in-law, JaNae Lyon of Butler and Sara Gonzales of Colorado; her brother-in-law, Adam Lyon of Butler; her mother-in-law, Georgine “Gigi” Lyon of Butler, and her niece and nephew, Hanna and Andrew Brown.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her father-in-law, Gregory S. Lyon.

LYON — The memorial service for Miranda Lynn Lyon, who passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, will be at the First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., Butler, at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev.
