Mary L. Napoletan

Mary Napoletan

Mary L. Napoletan, 80, of Butler passed away Saturday afternoon at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 23, 1935, in Coudersport, Pa., she was the daughter of the late J. Elwin and Bertha L. Pelchy Predmore.

Mary was employed in the sales department at Magnetics for 18 years. Following her retirement, she worked as a freelance clerical worker.

After retirement, Mary found great pleasure manicuring her many flower beds around her beautiful home. In her spare time, she found relaxation reading a good novel in the summer sun at her favorite vacation spot, Lake Arthur. But most of all she lived her life for her children, who she adored and cherished, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her such delight. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched and by all those she left behind.

She was a member of the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by two sons, Anthony P. Napoletan of Butler and Steven J. Napoletan and his wife, Johanna, of Butler; two daughters, Tracy L. Goettler and her husband, Daniel, of Butler and Roxanne Brown and her husband, Jeffery, of Renfrew; and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Baker of Roulette, Pa.

Psalm 71:20-21: “Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up increase my honor and comfort me once again.”

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony T. Napoletan, who passed away Feb. 19, 2006, and one brother, Arley Predmore.
