Driver of SUV injured in crash with pickup truck

The driver of this Honda SUV was injured and taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for treatment Thursday after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ehrman Road and Route 19 in Cranberry Township.

CRANBERRY TWP — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ehrman Road and Route 19 at 7:55 a.m. Thursday.

Sgt. Chuck Mascellino of the Cranberry police said a male driver of a small pickup truck was pulling onto Route 19 from Ehrman Road when he collided with the rear of a Honda SUV in the turning lane of Route 19. The impact forced the SUV into the other lane and off the road, where it went up a guide rail and flipped onto its roof.

The male driver of the SUV was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for treatment. A child in the vehicle was uninjured. The names of the drivers involved in the accident weren't immediately available.
