CLARION — A-C Valley’s Ryan Bartley, Brody Irwin and Kelsey Boocks will participate in the Sportsmanship I/Clarion County YMCA District 9 Basketball All-Star Games April 6 at Clarion High School.

Boocks, who averaged 13.0 points per game this season, will play in the girls game at 6 p.m. Bartley (20.8) and Irwin (11.8) will play in the boys game at 7:30 p.m.

SRU men’s hoops sets open tryoutsSLIPPERY ROCK — Open tryouts for Slippery Rock University’s men’s basketball team will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. April 27 and May 3.The tryouts — open to graduating high school seniors and junior college players — will be at Morrow Field House.Tryout fee is $25 per player.
