Paul K. Wolf, 96, of Butler, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Oct. 20, 2022 at Concordia at the Orchard.

He was born May 25, 1926 in Adrian, Pa., to the late Kenneth Wolfe and the late Allene Toy Wolfe.

Paul lost his parents at a young age. He was raised by his grandmother, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Paul was a graduate of Kittanning High School. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corps.

Paul worked as an agent and sales manager with Prudential Insurance Company for 34 years before retiring in 1984.

He was a member of North Main Street Church of God, its board of directors, the church choir and served as an usher, which he truly enjoyed. Paul was past president of Pittsburgh Life Underwriters, and an instructor for Russ Financial Schools.

He was a lifetime member of the Hilltop Beagle Club. Paul enjoyed hunting and playing golf with his many friends. He enjoyed playing his guitar.

Paul is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Cliff) Diehl of Butler, and Susan (Lew) Liparulo of Butler; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeff) Mueller, Jeffrey Diehl, Timothy (Brooke) Liparulo, Loren (Jesse) Mottern and Todd Liparulo; 10 great-grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Katie, Taylor, Dylan, Cole, Shane, Preston, Malcolm and Duncan; four nephews, Douglas Thomas, David Thomas, Kevin Grover and Mark Grover; and a cousin, Peggy Pollock of Southgate, Mich., who he was raised with.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Wolfe who passed away on June 3, 2017; one brother George Wolfe; and two sisters, Minerva Thomas and Dorothy Grover.

WOLF — Friends will be received for Paul Wolf, who died Friday, Oct. 20, 2022, from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Oct. 24 at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler. A funeral service will follow at noon with the Rev. Gordon Powell officiating.

Private burial will take place in Greenlawn Burial Estates.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries, 134 Marwood Way, Cabot, PA 16023 or to North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, PA 16001.
