Bonnie Lou Bane, 67, of Butler, passed away Oct. 18, 2022, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 10, 1954, she was the daughter of George and Edna (Hays) Rodgers.

She graduated from Butler High School in 1973.

She worked at Bobbie Brooks, Sugar Creek Nursing Home and Perkins, where she met the love of her life for the last 36 years.

She was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center.

She loved spending time with her grandkids, and taking shopping trips with her sister and daughter. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, playing games on the computer and spending time with her dog, Puppy. She also loved collecting Indian collectibles.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Rodgers; her mother, Mary Edna (Hays) Rodgers; and her sister, Lisa Rodgers.

She is survived by her husband, Tom Bane, of Butler; her sister-in-law, Kathy Bane; a son, Andrew Briceland, of Butler; a son, Bryan, and his wife, Amber Bane, of Butler; a son, T. R. Bane, of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Heather Bane, and her significant other, Anthony Rogers, both of Butler; a daughter, Shannan Bane, of Clarion; a sister, Linda (Jim) Young, of Butler; a brother, George (Nancy) Rodgers, of Butler; her grandkids, Autumn Bane, Bryan Bane II, Ana Bane and Logan Rogers; and a number of nieces and nephews.

BANE — Friends of Bonnie Lou Bane, who died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
