Kathryn Fleming

Kathryn Fleming, 93, of Fountain Inn, S.C., formerly of Butler, passed away Tuesday at her home.

She was born Nov. 23, 1923, in Butler, the daughter of the late John and Mary Ziminski Kowal.

Kathryn was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She loved baking, cooking and spending time with her family. She also loved making people laugh.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathryn (John) Namesnik of Butler, and Rebecca “Becky” (John) Thornley, with whom she made her home; her son, Paul J. Fleming of Butler; six grandchildren, Jennifer Burgess, John E. Nacey Jr., Jason Paul Nacey, Leesa M. Allen, Amanda Nicole Renken and John Paul Fleming; one stepgranddaughter, Jacqueline Thornley; and 11 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Fleming, who died Feb. 3, 1996; her daughter, Phyllis Nacey; her grandson, Eric J. Namesnik; four sisters; and five brothers.

FLEMING — Friends and family of Kathryn Fleming, who died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, will be received at a private viewing from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.

Entombment will be at the Calvary Cemetery.
