Sally L. (Elliott) Rankin, 85, of Buffalo Township, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at Rosebrook Assisted Living, Buffalo Township.

Sally was born on Sunday, Nov. 22, 1936, in Tarentum, and was the daughter of the late James and Olive Wyant Elliott.

She worked at Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington, and had her own cake business until she retired in 2000.

She was a member of the Cabot United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and a prayer warrior.

Sally is survived by her two sons, Keith E. (Wendy) Rankin II of Natrona Heights, and James L. Rankin of West Leechburg, Pa.; and her granddaughter, Emily Jane Rankin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Keith E. Rankin Sr., and a sister, Judy Elliott Boggs.

RANKIN — Family and friends of Sally L. (Elliott) Rankin, who died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, are invited from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Christ Community Fellowship Church, 160 Singleton Road, Sarver. Please meet at the church.

Private burial will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
