Shirley J. Knight passed away on Oct. 4, 2022, in Fort Myers, Fla., at the age of 91.

She was born on May 13, 1931, in Madison, Pa.

She is survived by her children, William, Dawn and Jill; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; and her son, Mark.

After more than 30 years of intermittent service as a registered nurse, she retired to Fort Myers, Fla., in 1986.

She was a member of the Butler Chapter 45 of the Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years.

KNIGHT — A memorial service for Shirley J. Knight, who died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, will be held at the convenience of the family.

Inurnment will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery.
