Paul J. Kremer Sr.

Paul J. Kremer Sr., 94, of Hampton Township, Allegheny County, passed away Friday.

He was the beloved husband of Betty J. Dible Kremer and the late Catherine Josephine Melcher Kremer; the dear son of the late Joseph J. and Hilda Heisel Kremer; the loving father of Paul. J. Kremer Jr., Robert L. Kremer, Charles T. Kremer, Carole J. Bogdan and the late Daniel H. Valley.

He also was survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Paul was the dear brother of Theresa Blazier of Arizona, John Kremer of Gibsonia, James Kremer of Florida and the late Joseph Kremer, William Kremer, Anna Mae Garrow and Grace McKelvey.

He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Paul graduated from Shaler High School, Class of 1940. He was an active lifetime member of St. Ursula Roman Catholic Church in Hampton Township, and the church's retreat group and choir.

Paul retired from Zimmermann and Jansen GmbH as a machinist, inspector and superintendent, after 16 years; Thomas Machine of Glenshaw as a machinist; Blawnox Corp. as an inspector; and United Engineering/Wean-United as an inspector for 19 1/2 years.

Paul's number one priority was family. He enjoyed woodworking, setting up Christmas displays, ceramics and traveling.

KREMER — The family of Paul J. Kremer Sr., who died Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ursula Church, 3937 Kirk Ave., Allison Park.
