Veteran fitness classes offeredThe Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Program at VA Butler Healthcare now offers free veteran fitness classes from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. five days a week at VA Butler Healthcare Auditorium, first floor, building 1, 325 New Castle Road.Monday, Wednesday and Friday classes are cardio-based, Tuesday classes are yoga and Thursday classes are Zumba.Veterans must register before attending classes. Poker, dinner set at Moose LodgeA benefit for Bobbi Rock, a mother of three boys who is undergoing weekly breast cancer treatment, will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Butler Moose Lodge, 225 W. Transports topic of library programThe Butler Public Library, in partnership with the Carnegie Science Center, will host “Start Your Engines” at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at the library, 218 N. McKean St.The program will include science demonstrations transporting children across land, through the air and into space. It also will include a demonstration on combustion, and children will learn about automotive safety and transportation technologies.The program is open to children in kindergarten through eighth grade. No registration is required.

Caregiver info available at fairAn information fair for caregivers will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 9 in Glenn Hall of St. Paul Catholic Church, 128 N.
