Mary Ferraro

Mary H. Ferraro, 92, of Jefferson Township passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 5, 1919, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Salvatore and Josephine Simeone Palladino.

Mary worked as a school crossing guard for the Penn Hills School District. She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, past president of East Hills Garden Club and co-founder of Penn Hills Chapter 50 Plus Club. She enjoyed flower arranging, traveling, gardening and painting.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas M. Ferarro Jr. of Butler and Richard P. Ferraro of Butler; two daughters, Lorraine A. Mason of Butler and Janice M. (Brian) Radus of Sarver; two brothers, John Palladino of Seminole, Fla., and Eugene (Marianne) Palladino of N.C.; one sister, Frances Curran of Dallas, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas M. Ferraro Sr.; one brother, Joseph “Buddy” Palladino; one infant daughter; and a grandson, Richard P. Ferraro Jr.

<B>FERRARO</B> — Friends of Mary H. Ferraro, who passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012, will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Father Ward Stakem officiating.
