The twinkling of the stars at night reminds us that you’re still near.

For even though God holds you tight we miss you being here.

We laugh at things you use to do and things you use to say.

Your gentle soul and caring heart are with us still today.

You led us by example with faith and prayers a must.

It was always part of who you were and in God’s love we should trust.

So as this day approaches and our eyes may fill with tears

Just know how much we love you through all these passing years.
