Texas Roadhouse in Butler will host a V.I.P. serve event from 5 to 8 p.m. March 3 to benefit Lifesteps.

Community leaders from Butler County will work side by side with servers and donate their tips to the Lifesteps' Family Caring.

Those participating include Pittsburgh radio personality Shelley Duffy, Gail Paserba of International Quality Services, Heidi Aubrey of Aubrey's Golf Course; Jarrod Sullivan of Boscov's, Kristen McKivigan of The Atrium, Larry Sommers of CW Howard Insurance Agency, Sherry Kyne of Eisler Nurseries and Mickey Bell.

The Feed-a-Pet volunteer group is collecting donations of pet food, money and storage bins. The group also is looking for new donation sites.Donations will be distributed to the Butler and Moniteau food pantries.Donation sites are Farmers Bank in Butler and Meridian, Baglier Buick, CMM Equestrian Center, Christ Community United Methodist Church and Trinity Lutheran Church. WINFIELD TWP — A rabies clinic will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. March 20 at the Winfield Township Fire Hall, 200 Brose Road. One-year shots only unless a prior rabies certificate is presented. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a carrier. Animals must be at least 13 weeks old.

ZELIENOPLE — Harmony Zelienople United Methodist Church, 123 N. Pittsburgh St., will hold a benefit bridal fashion show from 4 to 6 p.m. March 21 to benefit projects in Haiti.The show's theme is "Beauty from Ashes" combining a Cinderella theme and several short testimonies from women who have gone through and overcome hardships.Fashions from Once Upon a Bride will be featured.
