William F. “Bill” Kirmeyer Jr
William F. “Bill” Kirmeyer Jr., 58, of Evans City passed away Saturday.
Born Sept. 4, 1956, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Johanna (Ketterer) Kirmeyer of Evans City and the late William F. Kirmeyer Sr., who passed away Aug. 19, 2011.
Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, and he was a faithful member of St. Christopher at the Lake Parish. He was a true outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing and going to Evans City Sportsmen's Club. During his free time, Bill enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a longtime fan of the Oakland Raiders.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 30 years, Siggie (Dittman) Kirmeyer, who he married July 13, 1985; his two daughters, Jena Kirmeyer of Slippery Rock and Payge Kirmeyer of Evans City; his sister, Marylou Kerestury and her husband, Fred, of Gibsonia; and three sisters-in-law, Leah Sommers of Harrisville, Johanna Brinson of South Carolina and Lois Dittman of Evans City.
In addition to his father, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Schilling, and his niece, Christine Schilling.
KIRMEYER — The family of William F. “Bill” Kirmeyer Jr., who died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2015, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Christopher at the Lake Parish, 232 N. Franklin St., Prospect, with the Rev. Joseph Feltz as celebrant.
