Linda L. Wensel Mealy, 73, of Meridian, passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, under the care of Quality Life Services-Sugarcreek, in Worthington, Pa.

Born July 1, 1949, in Kittanning, Linda was the daughter of the late William and Martha (Ball) Wensel.

Linda was a 1967 graduate of Shannock Valley High School and went on to attend Butler Beauty School. She owned and operated Linda Wensel’s Beauty Shop for 29 years, and then worked for St. John's Specialty Care Center in Mars for 11 years. Linda was Methodist by faith. She enjoyed camping at Plantation Park in Mercer Co. and swimming, and she was an avid Steelers fan.

Linda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard Mealy, whom she married on April 14, 1979.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her two sisters, Peggy and Darlene Wensel.

MEALY — All are invited to attend a visitation for Linda L. Wensel Mealy, who died Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor David Janz, of First United Methodist Church in Butler, officiating.

Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
