Denise S. Mellinger

Denise S. Mellinger, 53, of Sarver passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born April 13, 1963, in Lawrenceville, Pa., she was the daughter of Gregory Broskey Sr. and Deanna Dressel Smith.

Denise was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Daniel Mellinger, who she married Nov. 1, 1991; her father, Gregory (Debbie) Broskey Sr. of Pittsburgh; her mother, Deanna (Edward) Dressel Smith of Shaler; three sons, Paul Broskey of Bordentown, N.J., Andy Mellinger of Sarver and John Mellinger of Sarver; her stepdaughter, Jill Mellinger of Etna; three stepsons, Daniel Mellinger Jr. of Etna, Chris (Tanya) Mellinger of Etna and Todd Mellinger of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Cindy DeSimone of Homosassa, Fla., and Terri (Wally Danielewicz) Kurpiewski of Etna; and her brother, Gregory Broskey Jr. of Pittsburgh.

MELLINGER — Friends of Denise S. Mellinger, who died Saturday, March 11, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg. Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. at funeral home.
