Leslie Henny and Brooke Edwards both scored a goal in the Slippery Rock University women’s soccer team’s 2-0 win over Kutztown on Wednesday.

The Rock (4-2-1, 3-2-1) had seven shots on goal while Kutztown managed six.

SRU goalkeeper Annabelle Hegeman made six saves to earn her PSAC-best fourth shutout of the season.

Slippery Rock University tied the game in the second half, but a late surge by Millersville allowed the Marauders to steal a 3-1 win at Millersville.

Matt Sangermano scored in the 65th minute to tie the game for The Rock (3-3, 1-1). Millersville (2-4-1, 1-0) took the lead in the 74th minute when Jaime Vazquez scored on a header.

The Marauders added their third goal when SRU scored on an own goal.
