Ralph E. Goehring
Ralph E. Goehring, 93, of Evans City passed away Sunday evening in the VNA Hospice, Butler.
Born Jan. 8, 1923, in Cranberry Township, he was the son of the late Clifford L. and Amanda Strable Goehring.
He was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church, Zelienople, where he often used his skills in woodworking to build items for the church.
Ralph retired from the Mine Safety Appliance Co. as the maintenance supervisor with 30 years of service.
Ralph proudly served his country during World War II as a staff sergeant in the Military Police.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Smith Goehring, on Dec. 24, 2015; one sister; and three brothers.
Ralph is survived by one daughter, Debra Macino of Warren, Ohio; one son, James (Jeanette) Goehring of Evans City; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
GOEHRING — Private visitation and services for Ralph E. Goehring, who died Sunday, July 3, 2016, were Wednesday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.
