Jane Daniels

A. “Jane” Daniels, 92, of Renfrew quietly left this world with her two daughters by her side at 1:58 a.m. Feb. 17.

She was born on July 1, 1921, in Summerville, Pa., and was the daughter of John J. and Mary A. Campbell.

Jane’s main loves were her home and her family. She had a great sense of humor, loved music and played both the accordion and the organ. She was a gentle and kind person, who had a passion for her dogs. She also had a soft spot for children, working as a foster grandma at the Children’s Rehabilitation Center, the Butler County Children’s Center and Lifesteps.

She was a widow for 30 years after losing the love of her life, Andrew Daniels, on June 10, 1984.

Jane is survived by her six children, Michael A. Olexsak of Butler; Patrick J. Olexsak of Portersville; Barbara A. Coleman and her husband, Danny L.; Andrew J. Daniels “Sonny” of Butler and his wife, Patty; Mary M. Benko and her husband, Richard A.; and Louis W. Daniels and his wife, Janice.

Jane is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, her 23 great-grandchildren, her two great-great-grandchildren, and another great-grandchild due in March.

Preceding her in death was her infant daughter, Mary Kathleen Daniels; her two daughters-in-law, Patricia Olexsak and Anne Olexsak, and her grandchild, Ashley DeRose.

Jane was greatly loved by her family and will be sorely missed.

Daniels — A memorial service for A. “Jane” Daniels, who died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, will be at the Christ Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., Butler, at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
