A-C Valley grad helps Thiel win

GROVE CITY — A-C Valley graduate Kylee Eaton tallied 10 digs and seven kills Tuesday night in helping the Thiel College women’s volleyball team defeat Grove City, 3-2.

The Tomcats improved to 9-76 overall, 2-0 in conference play.

DeGraaf, Lucas shine in GCC setback

GROVE CITY — Seneca Valley graduate Anna DeGraaf had 13 kills and four blocks in Grove City’s volleyball loss to Thiel. Match scores were 17-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Butler graduate Gabby Lucas had 14 digs in the defeat.

Butler grad Chappel nets tennis win

GROVE CITY — Butler graduate Lexi Chappel, playing No. 1 singles for Grove City College’s women’s tennis team, scored a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) victory over Westminster’s Sabrina Slagle Wednesday.

The Wolverines improved to 9-2 overall, 5-1 in Presidents’ Athletic Conference play with a 6-3 team victory.
