Community prayer gathering slated
A group of local churches will have a community prayer gathering from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at Diamond Park to pray for and encourage the population of the city who struggle with addiction, including friends and families of those who are struggling with addiction.
First Church, Oak Hills Christian Church, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and St. Peter’s Anglican Church is staging the event in cooperation with the Butler County Drug and Alcohol Program.
The public is invited. Bring a chair for seating in the park.In the event of inclement weather, this gathering will be in the adjacent Grace Community Wellness Center.
