Amir Mohammadi, who is executive vice president and university treasurer at Delaware State University, has been named Slippery Rock University’s new vice president for finance and administration.

SRU President Cheryl Norton made the appointment.

“His expertise and dedication to all facets of academic administration and academic life, along with his wealth of expertise not only in finance, but also in a broad array of higher education areas, including sustainability, made him an outstanding candidate,” Norton said in a statement.

He starts May 19.
