Dorothy E. Collins, 92, of Herman, passed away Sunday morning at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Dec. 2, 1925, in Butler, she was the daughter of Clement and Anna Hinterlang Graham. She was the last surviving member of her family.

She was a homemaker who was known for handcrafting Afghans for her family.

She was a member of Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman and the Christian Mothers of the church.

She is survived by two daughters, Patti Rock of Butler and Cheryl (Tim) Moran of Butler; 12 sons, Ed (Brenda) of Ohio, Ken (Diane) of Butler, Tom Jr. (Teri) of Ohio, Dean (Cindy) of Franklin, Pa., Mel of Harrisburg, Pa., Terry (Marsha) of Butler, Dave (Donna) of Kentucky, Lou (Marianne) of Butler, Kevin (Pat) of Chicago, Jeff (Christi) of Boston, Scott (Donna) of Butler and Brian (Marie) of Butler.

Also surviving are 52 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters-in-law, Ethel Collins of Butler and Violetta Collins of Butler.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Collins Sr., who died May 4, 2001. The couple married July 31, 1943.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul, who died in October of 1960, and Tim, who died in January of 2015; one granddaughter, Christine Marie, who died in March of 1981; and one son-in-law, Charlie Rock, who died in April of 2018.

COLLINS — Friends of Dorothy E. Collins, who died Sunday, July, 15, 2018, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman with the Rev.
