BUTLER TWP — A five-week course on managing grief will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 5, 12, 19 and 26 and April 2 at the VNA Community Bereavement Center, 160 Hindman Road.

Hospices Services of VNA will conduct the free group called "Bridges" for anyone who experienced a loss at least five months ago.

CHERRY TWP — The second annual Creepers and Crawlers community day will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 20 at the gym of Moniteau High School, 1810 West Sunbury Road.The event will feature games, raffles and food in addition to nonprofit groups Butler Parrot Rescue and Tasow.Creepers and Crawlers is an organization based at Moniteau High School that takes in sick and unwanted animals to rehabilitate and find homes for them.The group also does educational presentations at schools, churches and community events.For information, call 724-290-8250.

FREEPORT — Freeport Library, 428 Market St., is in need of donations of clean, usable household items for the spring New to You sale, which will be held from noon to 4 p.m. April 8 and 9 and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 10.Drop off donations at the library during normal hours. JEFFERSON TWP — His Kids Christian School and Calvary Day Care, 650 Saxonburg Road, will be open for visitation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 17 to 19.Stop in to see the facilities or receive registration information.Additional visitation times can be arranged by calling His Kids Christian School at 724-352-8177.

A pilgrimage tour will be held from May 24 to June 4 with visits to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Bethany, Cana, Mt. Tabor, the Dead Sea and other sites affiliated with the life of Jesus.A tour to see the Oberammergau Passion Play will be held May 17 to 26 and include visits to Switzerland, Austria and Bavaria.
