Valerie Ann Patton
Valerie Ann Patton, 52, of Slippery Rock, passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon at her home of natural causes.
Born Nov. 20, 1964, near Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Jerald Cravenor and Joanne Kamer Cravenor Carr.
She was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School and Butler Beauty School (Academy).
Valerie was United Methodist by faith.
She had previously been employed as a beautician and had also worked at Sheetz in Harrisville.
Valerie enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She possessed a special gift of working with and loving many, many children as well as a very close tie with her nieces and nephews. She also dearly loved her companion-dog Clover.
Valerie is survived by her son Joshua “Josh” Patton of Boyers and her daughter Kaitlyn “Kait” Patton and her companion, Heath Lominski, of Eau Claire; and her grandson, Jase Patton.
She also is survived by her parents, Joanne (Andrew) Carr of Butler and Jerald Cravenor of North Ft. Myers, Fla.; four sisters, Lisa Gallagher of Boyers, Michelle Jones of Butler, Christie Haggerty of Grove City and Betsy Strawbridge of Grove City; seven nieces; and six nephews.
PATTON — Friends of Valerie Ann Patton, who died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, may call from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Washington St., Eau Claire.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Lewis of United Methodist Minister officiating.
