Jerry Lee Watterson
Jerry Lee Watterson, 76, of Butler passed away on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born Jan. 28, 1945, in Saxonburg, he was the son of the late George A. Watterson Sr. and Deretha Faye Seybert Watterson.
Jerry worked as a truck driver for Glenshaw Glass Co., retiring after 35 years.
He was a member of the Owl Club.
Jerry enjoyed cutting grass, riding his motorcycle, and camping at Pymatuning.
Surviving are his loving wife, Barbara Nicolazzo Watterson, whom he married July 2, 1964; his children, Brenda L. Huff of Renfrew, Jerry Lee (Becky) Watterson Jr. of Valencia, Tina L. Watterson Karcher of Butler, and Brian L. (Lori) Watterson of Valencia; his grandchildren, Landon, Amber, Justin, Barbara, Kenny, Kristina and Savanna; several great-grandchildren; his siblings, Wiet (Mary Ann) Watterson of Shaler, George (Bobbie) Watterson of Tarentum, and Mary (Jack) Callahan of Lower Burrell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Chester Watterson; his sister-in-law, June Watterson; his grandson, Kevin Joseph Kelminsky; and his son-in- law, Barry Huff.
WATTERSON — Friends of Jerry Lee Watterson, who died Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
