GREENSBURG — Seton Hill scored four times in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat the Slippery Rock University baseball team 5-3 Tuesday.

The Rock (14-12) suffered its second straight loss and is scheduled to host Mansfield today at Critchfield Park.

Doubles by Scott Hugney and Jacob Oswalt enabled SRUto tie the game at one in the fourth inning. SRUtook a 3-1 lead in the top of the seventh as Rich Michalek singled and scored on a fielder's choice, and Matt Adams delivered an RBIsingle.

Seton Hill (16-15) put together three hits, two walks and took advantage of an SRU error to rally in its final at-bat.

STATE COLLEGE — A suspended Penn State receiver was kicked off the team Tuesday after university police charged him with threatening another player with a knife.Chris Bell, 21, of Norfolk, Va., faces charges including terroristic threats and simple assault, both misdemeanors, following the encounter Monday night at a team dining facility. No one was hurt."Chris Bell, who had been previously suspended from team activities, is permanently removed from the team and will not be reconsidered to be a part of the team in the future," said a one-line statement released Tuesday by Penn State athletics.
