Debra Sue Lumley
Debra “Deb” Sue Lumley, 67, of East Butler, passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, as a result of complications from COVID-19 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 22, 1954, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter to her father, Lowell “Frank” Morrow and the late Shirley (Hildebrand) Donaldson.
Deb was employed as a bookkeeper/secretary at Craftsman Ziegler Printing until 2004. She then went on to care for her niece's children, Carolyn, Nathan and Catherine Kelly, through 2010. Most recently, she was employed at Barkus Chocolates.
She enjoyed crafts, reading, and spending time with family, especially her grandsons.
Deb is survived by her husband of 47 years, David “Dave” Lumley, whom she married March 1, 1974; two daughters, Amy Lumley of Butler, and Sherrie Henderson and her husband, Joe, of Butler; two grandsons, Robby and Logan Henderson; her father mentioned above; two sisters, Doreen Morrow of Butler, and Lisa Hadley and her husband, Ken, of Witt, Ill.; and one brother, Doug Donaldson and his wife, Shelley, of Irving, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her brother, Greg Donaldson; and her brother-in-law, Ed Lumley.
LUMLEY — Family and friends of Debra “Deb” Sue Lumley, who died Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, are invited to attend a visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
Following visitation, a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Edmundson officiating.
Burial will be in North Butler Cemetery.
